Having burned through some 8,000 litres of water in the last couple of weeks or so, I've had to set up the RO (reverse osmosis) unit at the nursery for the first time this evening. It's a 100 gallon per day membrane and hopefully will just about keep up with demand, which is currently running at 500 - 1000 litres a day.

I do appreciate the first decent run of good summer weather experienced in a number of years, but it does cause anxiety... and expense, as I will have to pay for the water used.
