Well, at least my O15 is! I bought a small plant from Aidan last year and planted it in my bog. It was slow out of dormancy, but finally started sending up a small pitcher in late April/early June. Unfortunately, at the same time, the horsetail plants where beginning to stake their claim at the edge of the bog. Being the unforgiving individual that I am, I poured boiling water over them, hoping to eliminate the relatively minor problem with minimal effort. Unfortunately, the water found a path right over my little oreophila. I poured plenty of cold rainwater over it, but I knew the damage was done. The next day, everything above ground was obviously dead. The question was then if the rhizome and the roots had been damaged by my carelessness. Now, some six weeks later, the plant has no fewer than two pitcher emerging, with the tallest a good 3 inches and nowhere near ready to open. For my own part, I'm a little wiser (I hope), and amazed that my little plant could take such brutal punishment!
