Morning! How are you?
This year I sowed seeds of Proboscidea louisianica. Two years ago I raised Ibicella lutea from seed and when the plants were mature I thought: NEVER AGAIN! The smell of the leaves and other parts of the plant is so incredibly DISGUSTING! *jeuch!* But I was told Proboscidea wouldn´t be so terrible! Thankfully it really isn´t! My three plants have opened their first flowers the past couple of days. And I have to admit I am well pleased! =D
Particularly I haven´t expected such a deep colour. See for yourself!
Too bad I have a really bad digital camera now. It´s actually my mother´s...and she has by far not the same demands in photographing like I have... *hai!*
I think I will also grow this plant in future...hihi! 8-D
Regards
Andreas
