Hello!
I got this species as a small plant in 2010. It performed well all the years and regularly flowered despite difficult conditions during winter (artificial light). However now as it is a plant one meter in height it has decided to part from me! Kinda unexpectedly as Roridula used to enjoy growing on the balcony. Lots of fresh air and sunny/partly sunny conditions. I cannot detect any pests. The new leaves became smaller and smaller. Finally the first crowns of the 16 shoots withered....
I think I have heard (read) something like "Roridula will be more difficult to grow when it becomes a larger plant" years ago. Anyway, I would have had to sell this plant anyway this autumn as I cannot keep it indoors anymore for winter due to its size. But I rather would have enjoyed getting a good amount of money for a nice, healthy, big plant instead of burying it!!!
Sadly,
Andreas
